lyrics
i'm writing this letter with no hopes of reply. i see the clouds can't hold it in anymore. it's calming and hypnotic, in a way it fuels the fire. i'm like that but with no way of letting it out. i want to feel good about myself digging through the trash. it's like the can isn't down with that shit anymore. i stand back and notice i can totally smell the lies. i say that and then i let the dogs come out. every cat's in it's own bag with a tongue that it's got tied. i hear the mouths can't hold it in anymore. i'm standing in the punchline of the joke that i've been living. the idiot light was on so long that it burned out. i'm writing this letter to the void up in the sky. it seems that we're filled with all the same things, theres vigilance and indifference to the dying of the light since the ball ain't worth getting dressed up for anymore.
